Regulatory & Government Bodies

We operate in full compliance with Government Regulation No. 50 of 2011 on National Tourism Development and in close cooperation with the Komodo National Park Authority (Balai Taman Nasional Komodo). These foundational collaborations ensure our operations not only meet but exceed legal requirements, actively contributing to the protection of the 1,733 square kilometer UNESCO World Heritage Site. Our adherence to these regulations is non-negotiable and transparently managed for every charter.

• Kementerian Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif (Kemenparekraf): The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy. We are fully licensed under their authority with a Tanda Daftar Usaha Pariwisata (TDUP), a certification that confirms our compliance with national standards for business legitimacy, taxation, and service quality. This is a prerequisite for any legal tour operator in Indonesia.
• Balai Taman Nasional Komodo: The Komodo National Park Authority. We work in daily communication with the park authority to stay current on all regulations, dynamic zoning (which can change based on wildlife breeding seasons), and conservation efforts. We meticulously manage and remit all park fees, which currently include an entrance fee of IDR 150,000 per person on weekdays and IDR 225,000 on holidays, directly funding their vital anti-poaching patrols and habitat restoration work. We also strictly enforce park rules, such as maintaining a 5-meter distance from Komodo dragons and adhering to the no-fly zones for drones over sensitive nesting areas.
• Direktorat Jenderal Perhubungan Laut: The Directorate General of Sea Transportation.
