Aria Wiratama
Founder & CEO, Juara Holding Group
Credentials: MBA, INSEAD; B.Sc. in Environmental Science, Universitas Gadjah Mada.
Bio: Aria is the visionary behind the Juara Holding Group. Born in Jakarta with family roots in Flores, he has spent his career at the intersection of sustainable development and luxury hospitality. After years of working with international hotel chains, Aria returned to Indonesia with a mission to create a portfolio of businesses that showcase the nation’s beauty without compromising its ecological integrity. He is a passionate advocate for green technology and believes that Indonesia can lead the world in sustainable tourism. His vision guides every decision we make, from our naval architecture to our community partnerships.
Captain Budi Santoso
Fleet Captain
Credentials: Ahli Nautika Tingkat I (ANT I); 20+ Years Experience in Indonesian Waters.
Bio: A native of Labuan Bajo, Captain Budi possesses an unparalleled understanding of the Komodo archipelago. The sea is in his blood; he knows the currents, tides, and secret anchorages of these islands better than anyone. Having captained traditional Phinisi schooners and modern vessels, he is an expert navigator and a calm, confident leader. Captain Budi was instrumental in the sea trials of our electric yacht, embracing the new technology with enthusiasm. He is a master storyteller and takes immense pride in sharing the wonders of his home with our guests, ensuring every voyage is executed with the highest standards of safety, as detailed on our Safety & Compliance page.
Dr. Isabella Siregar
Lead Marine Biologist & Head of Impact
Credentials: Ph.D. in Marine Conservation, Scripps Institution of Oceanography; PADI Divemaster.
Bio: Isabella is our scientific conscience and the architect of our conservation programs. She has published numerous papers on the coral reef ecosystems of the Coral Triangle and has worked on field projects with WWF-Indonesia and The Nature Conservancy. Onboard, she leads guided snorkeling and diving excursions, interpreting the marine environment and sharing fascinating insights into the behaviors of manta rays, sea turtles, and the park’s 1,000+ species of fish. Isabella also oversees our data collection initiatives, guest education programs, and ensures all our content adheres to our strict Editorial Standards.
David Chen
Director of Operations
Credentials: Certified Marina Manager (CMM); STCW Certified; 15 years in luxury fleet management.
Bio: David ensures that every aspect of our operation runs with flawless precision. With extensive experience managing luxury yacht fleets in the Caribbean and Southeast Asia, he brings a world-class standard of operational excellence to Komodo. David is responsible for all logistics, crew training, and maintenance, ensuring our electric yacht and its systems are always in peak condition. His meticulous attention to detail is the reason our guests can relax, knowing that every safety protocol and service standard is being rigorously upheld behind the scenes.
Sari Indriani
Head of Guest Experience
Credentials: Diploma in Hospitality Management, STP NHI Bandung; formerly with Aman Resorts.
Bio: Sari is the heart of our hospitality. Having honed her skills at some of the world’s most exclusive resorts, she has an intuitive understanding of discreet, personalized service. Sari curates every detail of the guest journey, from dietary preferences and custom itineraries to surprise celebrations and seamless transfers. She works closely with our chefs to design farm-to-table menus that showcase the best of Flores’ local produce and ensures that the onboard ambiance is one of relaxed, understated luxury. Sari and her team are dedicated to making every electric yacht charter an unforgettable experience.
