Corporate & Operational Licensing

We are a fully legal and registered entity in the Republic of Indonesia, operating as a Perseroan Terbatas (PT) under registration number AHU-0078XXX.AH.01.01 since 2021. As a foreign-owned investment company (PT PMA), we are subject to heightened scrutiny and capitalization requirements, ensuring complete transparency and long-term accountability in all our business practices.

Maritime Safety & Vessel Certification

Our vessel is maintained to the highest safety standards, undergoing a comprehensive 115-point safety inspection before every departure. This pre-departure check includes engine fluid analysis, bilge pump functionality tests, and verification of all fire suppression systems. The yacht is fully certified by the Indonesian Classification Bureau (BKI), the nation’s official maritime classification society, which validates our structural integrity and safety systems against international benchmarks.

Proactive Maintenance & Annual Dry-Docking

Beyond routine checks, our vessel undergoes a mandatory annual dry-docking at a certified shipyard in Surabaya. This extensive, multi-week process is critical for long-term safety. Crew Training & Certification

Our crew is our greatest safety asset, with every member holding STCW 2010 certification and undergoing over 40 hours of emergency response training annually. Our captain possesses more than 15 years of experience navigating the challenging currents between Flores and Sumbawa, ensuring expert handling of the vessel in all conditions.

Navigational Expertise in Komodo’s Waters

The captain’s deep local knowledge is indispensable for navigating world-renowned sites with powerful tidal flows, such as the narrow channel at “The Cauldron” (Shotgun) or the current-swept pinnacle of “Batu Bolong.” This expertise allows us to time our passages and activities with the tides for maximum safety and enjoyment. The crew’s understanding of seasonal weather—from the calm seas of April-May to the dry southeasterly winds of June-September—enables us to always find calm, protected anchorages.

• STCW Certification: Every single member of our crew, from the captain to the deckhands, holds a valid STCW (Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers) certificate, the international standard for maritime professionals.
• Captain’s License: Our captains hold high-level Indonesian maritime licenses (Ahli Nautika Tingkat I or II), the highest qualifications available, demonstrating their extensive experience and theoretical knowledge.
• First Aid & Emergency Response: All crew members are trained in first aid, CPR, and firefighting. We have a designated onboard medic with advanced Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) level training. We conduct monthly, documented emergency drills for scenarios such as man-overboard, fire, and vessel evacuation.
• Social Security & Insurance (BPJS): All our Indonesian employees are covered by BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, the national social security program, which includes work accident insurance, life insurance, and pension plans, ensuring their welfare and professional security.

Guest Safety Protocols

• Comprehensive Briefings: Before every charter departs, all guests receive a detailed safety briefing covering life jacket use, emergency signals, and vessel protocols. Similar briefings are conducted before every activity. For snorkeling, this includes buddy system protocols and current awareness; for trekking on Rinca Island, it covers maintaining a safe 5-meter distance from Komodo dragons and following the certified park ranger at all times.
• Emergency Action Plan (EAP): We have a detailed EAP that includes clear protocols for any conceivable medical or vessel emergency. This plan has established communication lines to the local search and rescue authority (Basarnas) and a standing agreement with a leading medical evacuation provider, International SOS, for helicopter or fixed-wing transport if required. For immediate care, we are in contact with the Siloam Hospital in Labuan Bajo, located just 15km from the main harbor.
• 24/7 Monitoring: Our vessel is tracked via GPS 24/7 by our shore-based operations team, led by our experienced Director of Operations, providing an extra layer of oversight.
